A man was attacked and robbed at 16th and Capp streets at 5:45 a.m. on Saturday, police said.
The victim was sitting with an acquaintance when five suspects approached and demanded that he give them his money. The victim refused and the suspects attacked him, fleeing with his wallet and keys.
The victim sustained bruises and was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
A 70-year-old man was the victim of an assault at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of 16th and Mission streets.
The victim was walking along the street when the suspect approached him and demanded a cigarette. The victim ignored the suspect, who then blocked the victim’s way and repeated his demand. The victim pushed the suspect’s hand away and the suspect began punching him.
The victim sustained minor injuries to his head and ankle and was taken to a local hospital. The suspect fled on foot.
A man was robbed at 5:20 p.m. on Monday at Mission and 23rd streets. The 19-year-old victim was at a bus shelter when a man in his 20s approached, showed him a knife and demanded his money, police said.
The victim surrendered an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect left on foot.
