Police very rarely patrol along 25th in that area. I know because I have to walk home from where I park my car there every night. Muggers know this by now, I am sure. They patrol 24th, sure, but not 25th — even though Garfield Park is right there.I got rid of my iPhone partly because of concern it would get stolen (and partly because AT&T sucks).

Good luck with that. The thugs come out at night precisely because it’s impossible to maintain a police presence at all hours of the day.
