The breakfast section

The latest addition to Valencia Street is tasty, very tasty. Pastry Chef William Werner says he’s been working on this project for years, and it shows. The space at 746 Valencia, formerly an auto shop, has been transformed into a modern bakery and patisserie that will also serve sandwiches and picnic boxes to bring to Dolores Park.

The menu includes caramelized hazelnut financiers, scones, cakes, Sightglass coffee, granola, pates de fruits and more. My favorite so far? Definitely the financier and the passion fruit sesame croissant.

Craftsman & Wolves opens Saturday.

An assortment of croissants, financiers, gougeres and muffins
A sampling of salmon rillettes and a beet salad
