“The Art of Calixto Robles engages viewers with a universal spirituality. He creates a unique fusion of sacred imagery: ancient, indigenous, eastern, and western.” — Krista Bugnara, former director of exhibitions at the De Young Museum.

Calixto Robles’ art will be exhibited Saturday, May 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Live Art Gallery, 151 Potrero Ave. His work is in the exhibit Oaxacalifornia II, along with that of other Mexican and American artists, including of his two daughters.
