A man suffered a gunshot wound to the arm Saturday evening, according to Sgt. Daryl Fong of the San Francisco Police Department.

Police responded to reports of gunshots at about 10:15 p.m. on Saturday. When officers arrived on the 1300 block of Natoma, they found a man who had been shot in the arm.

The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening, and he was taken to San Francisco General Hospital.

Fong said that a black vehicle may have been spotted at the scene. No arrests were made.

  1. 1379 is the wrong address, its 1376 and hopefully the police will be taking more action after this event. ive called the police over 20 times in the past 2 months and they have only come out twice.

  2. it’s a tragic occurrence. we need peace in the streets but we also need mutual understanding among neighbors on Natoma. We need to make sure opportunities are available for at-risk youth.

  3. There was a second victim here: a female, with a gunshot to the arm:

Police will contact two nearby businesses on Monday to retrieve security camera footage, which should have a good angle on the shooter and any vehicle on the street at the time.

This shooting was related to one or more occupants at a shanty located at 1379 Natoma St. Norteno-affiliated gang members have been congregating there for a few years, despite the block’s efforts to get the SFPD to proactively respond.
