Happy Thursday everyone, it’s 7:30 a.m. and it’s going to be another sunny day. Here’s to hoping it’s as beautiful as it was yesterday — it’s currently 51° and headed to 63°. Details for the next 10 days are here.

The Examiner reports that as many as 390 families may have to figure out where to send their 4-year-olds for kindergarten next fall. The San Francisco Unified School District announced yesterday that it will cancel transitional kindergarten, “a program for children whose 5th birthdays come after a new cutoff date for entering school.” The article continues:

The district’s decision was prompted by Gov. Jerry Brown’s 2012-13 budget proposal, which eliminates funding for students in transitional kindergarten. The governor estimated the move would save California $223.7 million.

Fellow San Franciscans, do you find yourself complaining about how much parking tickets cost? How much rent is? If that’s the case, “Shit San Franciscans Say” may ring true for you.

Oh, and before we go, Mirkarimi has a new lawyer.
