A handful of city officials are scheduled to talk safety and security strategies at Dolores Park at a community meeting on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Mission High School.

As a warmup to the meeting, Mission Loc@l took to the park on Sunday to get people’s thoughts about how it is used and how it can be improved.

Though he lives in Russian Hill, Gregory Thomas feeds in the Mission. As a cub reporter, he happily avoids the doldrums of debt by subsisting on one $6 burrito per day. For fun, Thomas rides a multi-gear bicycle and plays pick-up basketball in Dolores Park.

  1. good overview. I suggest you get someone out there around 7a.m. on a Sunday or Monday morning and film what it looks like after a heavy day use. To balance out the picture
