A 24-year-old man was assaulted and robbed while walking home Monday around 11:50 p.m., according to police. The man was approached by three suspects on the 2800 block of 23rd Street, near Bryant.
The first suspect punched the victim, and the second held a knife up to him while the third went through his pockets. After taking the victim’s property, the suspects knocked the victim down, began assaulting him and then fled on foot.
The victim was transported to a hospital with minor non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made and the case is still being investigated.
