Each eye painting is accompanied by an unfiltered reflection from its subject\, inviting viewers into a vulnerable\, affirming space. These collective stories—intimate\, poetic\, and raw—are compiled in The Tracy Piper’s fifth publication\, also titled SEEN: Volume 4.\nFrom deeply personal truths to powerful affirmations\, the event centers the voices of everyday people—neighbors\, creatives\, activists\, and friends—through a lens of artistic empathy.\nAbout the Artist\nTHE TRACY PIPER (b. Oakland\, CA\, 1987) is a contemporary painter\, muralist\, author\, and art activist known for her bold\, figurative acrylic paintings that challenge social constructs with vibrancy and emotion. Her work has been exhibited at SCOPE Miami Beach\, SELECT Fair\, and SCOPE New York\, as well as internationally\, and she is represented in California by Voss Gallery. A champion for inclusivity\, Piper’s murals span both coasts\, amplifying messages of empowerment and self-expression. She gained national recognition by winning GSNTV’s “Skin Wars: Fresh Paint” and has published multiple books\, including Worthy and the SEEN series. Holding a BFA in Illustration from California College of the Arts\, Piper continues to push boundaries in contemporary art\, creating work that is both visually striking and socially impactful.\nAbout the Gallery\nVOSS GALLERY is a women-owned art gallery in San Francisco’s Mission District established in 2019 by Ashley L. Voss. The gallery features a dynamic exhibition program of solo and thematically organized group shows and socially-conscious projects to benefit the greater community. New exhibitions are presented every four to five weeks and are curated with an emphasis on New Contemporary work by emerging and mid-career artists.
