DESCRIPTION:A Tour de Force of Singing and Storytelling \nAMADEUS NEVER GIVES ME THE BLUES is an original staged play written and performed by Amy Bouchard with songs from opera\, Broadway\, and the Great American Song Book. Amy is an up-and-coming opera singer\, torn between equal desires for career and family. She meets and falls in love with Luis just as her career is taking off\, forcing her to make choices in situations she doesn’t know how to handle. A second narrator\, Amy’s grandmother\, Colleen\, is a young woman with a national singing career\, which she abandons to marry a Navy pilot when the United States joins World War II.
