The public defender’s office has alleged to the Bar that DA Brooke Jenkins‘ office has a “pattern and practice” of improperly withholding evidence that could support a defendant’s innocence. They cite 50 incidents, including withheld police reports that contradict officers’ statements.

Wow, have you been following Marina Newman on former parking enforcement officer Elias Georgopoulos and his suit against the SFMTA? The final day of testimony featured more charges of yelling and bullying, and tales of drama at The Jelly Donut.

“He can say whatever, but I want to see action,” according to a resident of Julian Avenue, who says the mayor’s visits to the Mission haven’t changed anything.
