Good afternoon! Here’s the latest:

Mayor Daniel Lurie is prioritizing interim shelter beds in his proposed budget, and wants to fund them by taking $89 million in Prop C funds earmarked for housing.

If President Trump succeeds in axing the Job Corps program, at least 100 trainees now studying on Treasure Island will lose their homes.

And San Francisco public mediaโ€”including KQED, KALW, and the Independent Television Serviceโ€”could lose $30 million a year if federal cuts are approved.

But the SFPD is doing fine. The Police Commission has voted to accept a $9.4 million donation to the SFPD from billionaire Chris Larsen that will expand the city’s Drones as First Responders program.

Meanwhile, despite fears about immigration checks, El Farolito’s soccer team is in New Hampshire competing for an amateur title. Liliana Michelina has the whole story.

More soon,

Sara

P.S. Check out all this weekend’s events, and don’t miss the pupusa party Sunday at Radio Habana.
