Today from Mission Local

Good afternoon! Here’s the latest:

After the city reinstated a 90-day limit on family shelters, a number of homeless families received eviction notices. A spokesperson for the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing said the change aims to โ€œdevelop key reforms to the family homelessness response system.โ€ Mission Local accompanied a group of parents and children to City Hall, where they asked Mayor Lurie for help.

We’ve got a lovely, surprising story about the Internet Archive, where 175 former employees are captured in ceramic sculptures. Read all about the project, then go pay a visit!

More soon,

Sara
