A former Trader Joe‘s employee was struck by a car and killed early this morning while fleeing police after allegedly shoplifting a bottle of wine from the Nob Hill store, reports Abigail Vรขn Neely. Two police officers who ran after him into the street were also hit by the car and injured.

Hamza Fahmy was at an Irish sports bar in the Mission yesterday with a crowd watching Mexico beat South Africa in the first World Cup game, when Mayor Daniel Lurie walked in. Read what fans had to say about soccer and politics.
