Today from Mission Local

Good afternoon!

It’s great to be back in San Francisco. I was greeted by my mail ballot, and the gigantic City voter information guide, which was helpful for smacking a couple of flies that snuck in while we were away.

This morning, three former SF mayors called for the criminal investigation of Mark Farrell‘s campaign. Art Agnos, Willie Brown, and Frank Jordan signed a letterย to Attorney General Rob Bonta and DA Brooke Jenkins, following reporting by ย Mission Local and the Chronicle about the conmingling of funds between Farrellโ€™s mayoral campaign and a committee supporting Prop D. Farrell said the former mayors โ€œhave no idea what they are talking about.โ€ย

Mission Local remains the single best source for all the background and current news on the election. Here’s our election dashboard, with up-close coverage of the mayoral race, questions for supervisorial and Board of Education candidates, reporting on ballot measures, and how you can follow the money. We tell you how to reach our reporters, and how to cast your ballot from now until Election Dayโ€” in person, by mail, at City Hall, or at your polling place.

There’s a new mural at 24th and Potrero by Neil Ballard, one of Mission Local’s illustratorsโ€”the same guy who renovated the iconic Beep’s Burgers sign on Ocean. Check out some of his work!

If you’re up for more election activity, there’s letter-writing for Kamala Harris tonight at Manny’s from 5-7 PM. Or you could just go enjoy some karaoke at Z Space.

More soon,

Sara
