We look at a flush new tech-backed PAC, its donors, and its connections with other political action committees.
With all the money flowing in for the March 5 election, you’re probably seeing a lot of ads. Paul Harkin, a longtime harm reduction worker, was shocked to see his photo used in a video supporting Prop F, Mayor Breed’s proposal to require drug-testing and mandatory treatment for adults who get city assistance. Harkin, an ardent opponent of Prop F, says it’s dangerous and doomed to failure. “That shit doesn’t work.”
