The candidates for D9 supervisor debated last night, with Trevor Chandler pulling away from the pack to oppose Prop 33, which would allow cities to expand rent control. The contenders also discussed affordable housing, public safety, and a ceasefire resolution on Gaza.

Over in D5, supervisorial candidates told usโ€”or didn’tโ€” their choice for D.A. Only one said, “We dumped Chesa Boudin for this?

Hundreds of dirt bikers rumbled through the city on Sunday with impunity, taking over streets, roaring up sidewalks, and doing wheelies for hours at the intersection of Valencia and 23rd Street. The SFPD said that officers and drones “observed” the bikers; no arrests were made.
