Amid budget cuts, Eleni Balakrishnan reports that the city will close—or, as it says, “consolidate“—two longstanding health clinics for youth, and one clinic for geriatric mental health. Read what services are being lost.

D6 Supervisor Matt Dorsey, who has never been unhoused, said that under new legislation he’s proposing, he would have deserved to be evicted when he was using drugs. Check out what else Dorsey had to say about drugs, housing, and the police when he was interviewed last night by Joe Eskenazi.

Three candidates are running in the June election for one seat on the S.F. school board. See how they responded to Marina Newman‘s question about their priorities for the district.

And don’t miss Iryna Hunenyuk‘s fascinating conversation with Nigel Poor, the artist who’s co-hosted “Ear Hustle,” the podcast produced inside San Quentin, since 2017. Co-host Earlonne Woods and Poor kick off a national tour this Saturday at the Toni Rembe theater.
