Good afternoon! Here’s the latest:

Well, it’s been 100 days since the city pledged to crack down on a surge of drugs and vending at the 16th St. Plaza. As Mission Local’s daily coverage winds down, Lydia Chรกvez evaluates what’s really happened.

Oscar Palma interviews Captain Liza Johansen of Mission Station about policing on 16th St., and why she expected the crackdowns in SOMA to drive more drug trade to the Mission.

Meanwhile, on Day 99, a man died on Weise Street, apparently of a drug overdose.

Margaret Kadifa reports on what the players in San Francisco’s Big Money network are up to: TogetherSF has “evolved” into Blueprint for a Better San Francisco, with failed D5 Supervisoral candidate Scotty ‘Party Zone’ Jacobs as director. See who’s backing itโ€”and who’s staying away.

More soon,

Sara
