SUMMARY:111 Minna Gallery: Rising Tides – Fundraiser for PangeaSeed (opening reception)
DESCRIPTION:Aloha 111 Minna Gallery Friends and Family\, \nWe’ve got a great event coming up for our next quarterly exhibition at 111 Minna Gallery on Friday\, April 10th!!!! \nRising Tides: PangeaSeed Brings Global Ocean Art Fundraiser to 111 Minna Gallery \nJoin us for a spectacular evening of live art\, music\, storytelling\, music by David Choog Lee and more… \nInternational ocean nonprofit PangeaSeed returns to the Bay Area with Rising Tides\, a powerful art fundraiser and exhibition hosted at 111 Minna Gallery from April 10 through July 10\, 2026. The public is invited to attend the opening night celebration on Friday\, April 10\, from 5–10 PM\, for an inspiring evening of art\, music\, storytelling\, and community in support of ocean conservation. \nBringing together over 100 artists from around the world\, Rising Tides is a dynamic showcase of creativity united by a shared purpose: protecting our blue planet. Through painting\, printmaking\, storytelling\, and interactive experiences\, the exhibition highlights the vital role art plays in advancing ocean literacy and inspiring meaningful environmental action. \n“Rising Tides is a love letter to the ocean and to the power of creativity\,” says Tré Packard\, Founder and Executive Director of PangeaSeed. “Science gives us the facts\, but art moves the heart. When creativity and community come together\, we create space for connection\, awareness\, and action. This exhibition is about harnessing that energy to protect what we love most.” \nOpening night will transform 111 Minna into a vibrant hub of art and ocean advocacy. Guests will experience a curated showcase of Printed Oceans fine art prints alongside original works from participating artists across the globe. The evening will feature exclusive print releases and live signings by acclaimed Bay Area artists Jet Martinez\, Amandalynn\, Griffin One\, and Taylor Reinhold\, as well as live painting\, a community sketch session\, short film screenings\, and a panel discussion exploring the intersection of art and activism. \nSpecial activations throughout the evening will offer attendees opportunities to directly support PangeaSeed’s mission and programs\, which transform environmental science into accessible\, community-driven solutions through public art and storytelling. \nThe event is free and open to the public. The gallery bar will be open\, and guests will have multiple ways to contribute both on-site and online. \nPangeaSeed’s roots in San Francisco run deep. Fourteen years ago\, the city hosted the organization’s first US exhibition. Since then\, PangeaSeed has grown into an internationally recognized nonprofit\, producing large-scale public art projects around the world\, including Sea Walls Santa Cruz and Sea Walls Emeryville. Rising Tides marks a meaningful return to where it all began while celebrating more than a decade of global creative impact. \nLearn more about PangeaSeed at: \nHome \n \nHope to see you there!!!!! \n111 Minna Gallery

SUMMARY:Brick & Mortar Music Hall: Goldenvoice presents PRYVT with J.Y.N
DESCRIPTION:Goldenvoice presents\nPRYVT\nwith J.Y.N\nApril 10\, 2026 9:00 pm PDT (Doors: 8:00 pm )\nBrick and Mortar Music Hall \, 1710 Mission Street \, San Francisco\, CA (map) \nFormed on Discord in 2023\, atmospheric indie rock band PRYVT launched their career with a highly unusual feat\, amassing more than 20 million streams\, landing on Spotify’s Viral 50 charts in several countries\, and opening for one of South Korea’s biggest indie rock band wave to earth\, all before the members had ever even met in person. \nWhile PRYVT’s whirlwind rise may have happened in the blink of an eye\, the band’s captivating debut\, &SCENE\, is a measured and deliberate affair. The music is lush and dreamy\, built on hazy\, reverb-soaked guitars and hypnotic\, laidback grooves\, and the production is mesmerizing to match\, with ‘s breathy\, intimate vocals always front and center in the mix. At times\, the lyrics slip between English and Korean\, but the emotions they convey transcend language\, and the result is more than just an album; it’s a borderless sonic world to get lost in\, an immersive\, cinematic blend of alt-rock and bedroom pop that erases time and distance\, allowing millions of listeners to find each other and themselves -in the process.
