Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month
Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM) takes place September 15 to October 15 every year as a time to recognize and celebrate the many contributions, diverse cultures, and extensive histories of the American Latino community.
Our artistic director, CAROLA ZERTUCHE was born in Mexico. FLAMENCO has long been a symbol of Spanish identity. In honor of both Mexico & Spain, Theatre Flamenco will have Special El Rincón Shows every week during Hispanic Heritage Month.

Join us in “Flamenco Scheckes” the first show in the series celebrating the Hispanic Heritage Month on Saturday, September 16.
Carola Zertuche will choreograph three short pieces for the first show. One of these pieces will be performed with a cast of seven flamenco dancers.
We will end our vibrant evening with a “Juerga Flamenca”, a flamenco party where our students, the bay area flamenco community, fans are invited to sing and dance with our musicians.
This celebration also marks the 7th anniversary of our current studio.
