SOUTH BAY DUB ALLSTARS: South Bay Dub Allstars (SBDA) previously known as Dub Fx (est. 2000), continues breaking down barriers with an unstoppable roots reggae vibe and a mix of dancehall, pop, and funk. With members from The Brownies, Inka Inka, Dub Nation, Monkey, Rise Up, and La Yerba Ruda, this 9-piece powerhouse with a 3-horn section comes together from six different counties and over 400 miles across California to deliver a reggae allstar experience not to be missed. SBDA has also opened for reggae musicians including Toots And The Maytals, Yellowman, Mikey Dread, Barrington Levi, Mykal Rose, Eek-a-Mouse, Native Elements, and Hirie.

COAST TRIBE: Coast Tribe is a 7 piece modern reggae/rock band based in Half Moon Bay, CA founded in 2015. Their unique style encompasses elements from diverse genres like reggae, funk, hip hop, and heavy metal. Expressive lyrics paint pictures of the struggles of the modern world and words that celebrate life and music. The band is comprised a of multi-talented artists and their sound is a representation of this fusion. Never settling for the status-quo, Coast Tribe aims to surpass expectations and push their sound to its fullest during their high-energy live shows or in the studio. Their debut album, titled “Relativity” speaks to the fact that every song on the record is relative to a different situation. All 10 tracks arose from different situations, emotions, and events.

CULTURE CANUTE: Growing up in Montego Bay, Jamaica, reggae has been a part of Canute’s life from the beginning. He is known for his conscious lyrics and sweet, lover’s rock style. His 2011 album, “Culture Canute & the Rockstone Players,” is a selection from the catalogue that he spent years developing. A follow-up album is in pre-production stages now. Canute continues to stick to classic roots and dub with a hardcore rhythm section and positive, uplifting lyrics.
