Caminos Flamencos is an Emmy-winning troupe known for its improvisational and passionate representation of flamenco infused with modern influences of jazz, rock, and Latin. Led by virtuoso guitarist Jason “El Rubio” McGuire and director Yaelisa, they will be joined by Spanish singer El Grillu, highly respected dancer Fanny Ara, as well as special guests for two evenings (November 15 & 23) which will feature rocking flamenco dance and song styles that represent flamenco in the 21st Century.

Emmy award-winning choreographer Yaelisa and her troupe have graced a variety of stages such as the SF Opera, the Segerstrom Concert Hall, Yoshi’s Jazz Club, the New Parish, and the John Ford Amphitheater in LA among others. They have worked in the mediums of film, video, theater, television opera, contemporary dance, and even Latin jazz music, while maintaining their love for traditional flamenco. Caminos Flamencos has been nominated three times for an Izzie Award and won the prestigious award in 2004.
