Public Works: Speechless Live: Super Speechless

July 18, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Each month at Speechless Live some of San Francisco’s funniest people present slides they’ve never seen before in a talk style determined at random: TED Talk? Sermon? A super villain describing her plot to take over the world?

This month it’s Super Speechless! A heroic night of improvised talks with a lineup of amazing past Speechless champs: Edwin Zee, Lisa Rowland, Tim Hahn, and Sean Owens!

Come at 6:30pm for our Open Mic where anyone can try their skills at a shortened version of our improv slide game! Bring your friends to cheer you on and give it a try!

The winner will perform on our mainstage. In fact the last two Open Mic winners went on to win the whole show!

Our distinguished Speechless judges (with help from YOU the audience) will choose the mainstage winner. And this month’s incredible judges are SF Improv Fest Producer-in-Chief Mithra Vankipuram and yo-yo hero Doctor Popular!

But we have a Super additions for this month, a special nod to our theme, we’ll even have a pop-up Comic Book Store for the night, thanks to Mission: Comics & Art. Don’t miss it! Plus audience giveaways during the show!

Of course Public Works’ full bar is open throughout the night with special on-theme drinks. Remember: Public Works is strictly 21 and older. Bring your Photo ID to be checked at the door.

Join us for Super Speechless Live, let our improvisers inspire you with unexpected laughs because we all need more of those right now!
