Kristin Damrow & Company (KDC) is a contemporary dance company that was established in 2013. Over the past 10 years, KDC has created 18 new works that have captured audiences across the Bay Area. Our live performances are developed from the physical exploration of design concepts. This research is then brought to life with dynamic movement, original soundscapes, and thematic scenic design. The organization’s mission is to bring together a diverse community of artists, teachers, and creatives to produce innovative performances and programming that inspire, connect, and empower individuals and communities through movement. KDC provides artist commissions through Merde Project and free classes throughout the Bay Area with Bodies of Empowerment (BOE).
