October 24, 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Three strikes 30 years later poster.

October 2023 marks 30 years since the tragic, high-profile murder of Polly Klaas and the beginning of ‘Three Strikes, You’re Out.’

Annie and Jess Nichol, sisters of Polly Klaas, Tinisch Hollins, ED of Californians for Safety and Justice (CSJ), James King, Co-Director of Programs for the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, and Lenore Anderson, Co-Founder and President of Alliance for Safety and Justice (ASJ) and Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice (CSSJ), and Author of In Their Names: The Untold Story of Victims’ Rights, Mass Incarceration, and the Future of Public Safety, will navigate the history of victims’ rights and the myth that mass incarceration protects victims.

Join this historic conversation, co-hosted by The Rosenberg Foundation, Tuesday, October 24th at 6:30pm at Manny’s, 3092 16th Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, as we honor heroes like Annie, Jess, Tinisch, James, and Lenore and the new safety movement they are building.

Manny’s never turns away someone due to lack of funds. If you need a complimentary ticket, please email the title of the event and the word “grapefruit” to angelina@welcometomannys.com.
