About Chanelle Ignant:
Originally from Los Angeles, Chanelle Ignant blends jazzy melodic lines with laid back rhythms. She has shared stages and studios with Déja Bryson, Be Steadwell, Kah Liberation, Vibe Muzik, Lizzy Dutton and many more.
About Karen Segal:
Karen Segal brings a jazz guitar sensibility to a wide range of musical styles including jazz, rock, funk, fusion, folk, and Latin music, distinguished by her quirky compositions and soulful playing style. Segal played free jazz in Europe before studying standards with Cedric West in London, then attending the Musicians’ Institute in Los Angeles. She has performed internationally both as a solo artist and band leader, and designated as a “Leading Lady of Jazz” by Jazz Times magazine. Based in San Francisco since 2000, Segal is the band director at Raoul Wallenberg High School in San Francisco and performs regularly with her band “The Fun Guys.”
About Marlina Teich:
Marlina Teich is a vocalist and guitarist specializing in swing, show tunes and jazz standards. Originally from New York, Marlina sings and plays the music of Nat King Cole, Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington. Marlina has performed internationally at Sandals resorts in Jamaica; wineries in Sonoma County, California; Ben Swig’s Penthouse Suite at the Fairmont Hotel; various clubs, private parties and restaurants. She did a California prison tour with a jazz band and was a music instructor at San Quentin prison. She has done studio work for radio commercials. Marlina has played with a variety of musicians including: Richie Cole, Eddie Henderson, Jimmy Knepper, Ron Crotty, Jules Broussard, Larry Hancock, Yolanda Nichols, Juanita Ellington, Art Washington, Bishop Norman Williams, and others.
