Manny’s: Making Friends: A Different Kind of Networking Event

Hey you – yes you! Working professional in the adult world! If you’re like us, you’ve thought about how easy it used to be to make friends… laughing together at recess and playdates after school. Well what if we could recreate that in our 20s, 30s, and beyond?

On Deck Workshops is partnering with Manny’s to bring you Making Friends: A Different Kind of Networking Event. We’re creating a free space for you (& your coworkers, friends, loved ones) to connect with new people in a low-stakes, legitimately fun way.

Date: Wednesday, October 11, 2023

Time: Doors open at 6:30 PM. Be there by 7:00 PM for the connection kick off!

Location: 3092 16th Street, San Francisco, CA 94103

What to expect

1. Connect 1:1 with new people in an evening of facilitated games.

2. Mingle with potential friends in a stress-free, playful environment.

3. Walk away with new friendships, strengthened relationships, and maybe even a whole new community!

If you’ve spent time frustrated with how hard it is to make new friends in adulthood, and Bumble BFF did not deliver its promise…we’ve got you covered.

The bar will be open so beer, wine, coffee, tea and low abv cocktails are available for purchase! As for food, we will have limited grab and go items available.

We recommend that you eat beforehand in the delicious Mission district… or maybe grab a late dinner afterwards with new friends? 🙂
