Gray Area: Ana María Caballero: Beyond the Page Multimedia Poetry Reading, Exhibition & Book Signing

Join us at Gray Area on August 6 as we welcome poet Ana María Caballero for an intimate evening of poetry reading and media presentation from recent bodies of work.

Recognized as an innovative force within the nascent genre of digital poetry, Caballero seeks to expand the ways verse is experienced and exhibited in a rapidly evolving technological age, incorporating performance, artificial intelligence, code, collage, and choreography.

Beyond the Page presents a brief survey of key poetic oeuvres from Caballero’s newest book Mammal, concurrently with a reading from this text, exemplifying the ways poetry can be expanded in the digital age. Afterwards, stick around for a happy hour and book signing with the poet.
