Galería de la Raza invites you to the zine release and closing reception of Rooted, curated by ReGen Grantee, Xochitl Priscilla.
The Rooted zine will catalog the artwork presented in the exhibition and will serve as a physical memory of the project. The zine will provide context to the inception and creation of the selected artwork and its role in unearthing and weaving the often absent female gaze to demonstrate the inextricable ties we hold to our environments, inviting us to reflect on the connections to the places we call home.
