Brava Theater: Teen Poetry Slam Finals | Youth Speaks

Top 10 poets from the semi-finals compete with their best poems for a shot at $150 and the title of Grand Slam Champion!

After over 75 youth poets competed in 2 preliminary bouts, a semi-finals competition, and a last chance showdown, the top 15 poets from all 4 bouts will go head to head and share their incredible original poetry on this night of Bay Area performance and poetic excellence. The top 6 scoring poets will receive a cash prize as well as a spot on the 2026 Brave New Voices Team, a group of young poets who will write, rehearse, and travel together to compete at the 2026 Brave New Voices Festival!

Join us for a night celebrating powerful poets featuring TBD Masks are highly encouraged and available at check-in. If you have tested positive for COVID or been in close contact with someone with confirmed COVID, please do not attend Youth Speaks activities until you are able to produce a negative COVID test 5 days after your most recent exposure.
