Artillery AG: Women’s Art Showcase (opening reception)

✨In the political and social context that we live in, our bodies and our autonomy are constantly under attack.
✨In the spirit of Audre Lorde, caring for ourselves and community is an act of “political warfare”.
❣️This art showcase seeks to uplift the way in which we as women* reclaim our bodies and embody our healing through art, culture, connection to the elements and community.
✨We will be featuring 12 local artists through our immersive art exhibit, tea bar by Apothecary for the People, a free clay workshop, and platica (open discussion) on the Cycles of the Moon and Our Bodies.

Body & Earth: Crafting Sacred Offerings with Clay @mayari.sol
Join us for a transformative experience as we come together to honor the earth with a clay offering. Guided by Mayari, we’ll create miniature body sculptures, each infused with intention and care. Adorned with seeds and heartfelt prayers, these sculptures will symbolize our deepest desires for collective growth, healing, and liberation. At the end of the circle, we will plant them into the earth, where they will sprout and bloom with the energy of the next moon cycle. This sacred practice is a beautiful way to align with the natural rhythms of the earth and contribute to the cycle of renewal.
