In this workshop, students will learn about the elements of spoken word poetry and develop a poem about their COVID-19 experience. Students will reflect on their feelings, learn how to convey feelings with words, and share those feelings through their spoken word poem.

After registering, staff will reach out to offer a spot depending on eligibility and availability in the program. Our workshops are open to everyone, but we give priority to SFUSD students with a socio-economic need and hold spaces for students enrolled in our other programs.
