Solaris, a project associated with the controversial “Network State” movement, had ambitions to build a one-square-mile tech campus in Hayes Valley. But the project is shutting down; Yujie Zhou looks into how plans to create a space for thousands of tech builders to work and live collapsed.

Closing arguments have begun in the trial of Nima Momeni for the murder of Bob Lee. Prosecutors revealed new evidence that jurors will see in the deliberation room, including video of Momeni leaving his sister’s home with Lee shortly before the stabbing.
