Supervisor Matt Dorsey is asking the mayor to move money away from drop-in opioid treatment centers to fund healthcare inside the jail. But we found out that Jail Health officials don’t want the moneyโ€”they want to see more treatment outside.

The FBI arrested cops from Antioch and Pittsburg following federal indictments for charges including wire fraud and obstruction of justice. Sordid details from the documents include officers bragging about using dogs on suspects, and a trove of racist texts already under investigation by CA Attorney General Rob Bonta.
