A shopkeeper of an unknown store on Mission Street between 16th and 17th streets was robbed Thursday night and lightly injured, losing cash and a record book.
At 12:05 a.m. on Thursday, a 50-year-old man was closing his shop on Mission Street when he was clasped from behind by a man in his early 30s. The man snatched a money bag and record book the victim was holding, and then fled southbound on Mission Street.
The police did not indicate which shop the victim was closing, and numerous business owners on the block said on Friday morning that they heard nothing about the robbery and did not know which shop had been hit.
The police have not made an arrest.
