At 1:53 a.m. Friday morning, a 38-year-old man was sitting in his car near 26th and Folsom when a 25-year-old man approached the car and requested his ID. The suspect may have produced a gun and tapped on the victim’s vehicle before taking the ID, which turned out to be an expired driver’s license. The police have not made an arrest.

And at 2:25 a.m. on Harrison Street between 18th and 19th, a 34-year-old woman was walking on Harrison Street when a 35-year-old man approached her from behind and snatched her purse, which had a cell phone and cash inside. The suspect then fled the scene in a light blue Toyota RAV4. No arrest was made.
