Police report an arsonist set garbage cans on fire at six locations throughout the Mission around 1 a.m. this morning.
The arsonist, reportedly a male, worked his way from 24th and Capp streets South and West, setting fires as he went. Two bins were set ablaze on Capp street between 24th and 26th streets, another on Cesar Chavez between Mission and Bartlett streets, one on Guerrero between 27th and Duncan, the next on Guerrero and Duncan, and a final one on Duncan Street and San Jose Avenue .
No damage or injuries were reported, and no arrest has been made.
