Disaster struck for one Ingleside woman when she left her house keys in her car.
Around 10:43 a.m. on Thursday, a suspect broke into a car parked on Harrison Street, between 26th and Cesar Chavez Streets.
Inside was everything the suspect needed for his next heist: the keys to the owner’s house home and a wallet with the address of the owner’s home.
A half hour later, the suspect was at the victim’s Ingleside home, letting himself in with the keys.
The suspect stole multiple valuables – including cameras, an MP3 player, a laptop, a tablet, and watches – as well as diamond jewelry from the victim and her husband.
The suspect is unknown, and no arrests have been made.
