San Francisco Police report of a drug deal gone wrong Thursday at the corner 24th and Mission. It ended with a young man transported to the hospital with stab wounds.

According to police a 25-year-old man met with another man in his early 20s to buy drugs around 2:30 Thursday. The 25-year-old handed over his money, but upon receiving cash his supposed supplier took off in the other direction.

Seeking his desired merchandise, the 25-year-old chased after the other young man. The fleeing drug dealer turned out to have an accomplice that knocked the 25-year-old to the ground where he passed out. When he came to, the 25-year-old realized he had cuts to his face from a knife. He was treated for his wounds at San Francisco General Hospital.
