San Francisco is a city with an abundance of creative folks, so it is no surprise that Zipcar tapped into this resource by adorning one of their rides with art from a local artist.

We introduce you to Civic Comito, a Honda Civic featuring Emily Glaubinger’s design. And there’s more, for every hour the midsize sedan is on the road, the company will donate $1 to the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts.

Here at Mission Local we love the idea and want to take it a step further. We are
running an unauthorized design contest to turn the tech buses into moving art
pieces. Submit your design to submissions@missionlocal.org and you could win $500.
