Those who compare Brooklyn’s Williamsburg district to the Mission now have another reason to do so. The ever-popular Rosamunde Sausage Grill plans to open a branch there, according to GrubStreet:

Owner Josh Margolis, who already runs two branches of his literal sausage-fest in the Mission and Haight-Ashbury districts, will open a third outpost in South Williamsburg in mid-August, at the former home of short-lived Masten Lake.

And in mural news, the one on the Women’s Building is getting a makeover. The center received a $60,000 grant in July, approximately half the cost of the $130,000 restoration project, according to Fog City Journal:

The “San Francisco Seven” — the seven female artists who completed the mural 19 years ago — will use scaffolds to restore the mural’s vibrant reds and yellows using an acryloid seal to ensure longevity while combating graffiti as well as discoloring due to aging and weather.
