It’s a beautiful day for Pride 2012! We hope you’ve been enjoying the sunny weather. Hundreds of people gathered at Dolores Park on Saturday to dance and relax in the sun.

The SF Examiner reports that 1 million people could be in San Francisco this weekend for Pride.

Roughly 100 permits will be released to taxi companies Sunday for the 42nd annual Pride parade, a gathering celebrating LGBT individuals. As a result, more than 1,600 cabs will be out on the streets.

The extra permits are being issued for the second straight weekend — about 100 more cabs than usual were on patrol for the U.S. Open golf tournament at the Olympic Club.
