This morning, cleaning crews were still busy cleaning up the damage from Thursday’s heavy downpour, which caused sewage overflows on Folsom Street between 17th and 18th streets.

Three manhole covers blew up, the owner of Stable Cafe, Thomas Lackey, said on Thursday.

The flood caused the closure of Saison, Stable Cafe and other businesses on Folsom Street. It also damaged residential garages and homes.

Sandbags provided by the City lined the buildings on Friday.
