Alfred Twu, one of the illustrators for the “Comic Book Guide to the Mission” is leading tours of the neighborhood now. He writes:
Come on a drawing tour of the Mission based on the Comic Book Guide to the Mission! We’ll go thrifting, try the perfect taco (according to one of the contributing writers), take notes on hipsters at the park, look at murals, and visit Mission Comics.
Right now the tour is $7 (ultimately it will be $15) and includes a copy of the “Comic Book Guide to the Mission.” Tours are on Friday and Wednesday nights, and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. You can buy tickets through Vayable.
