Noticed under “Aztec dancers” a woman wearing Native American regalia: Something new? (I haven’t been to Carnaval since 2018.)
And under “… floats”, the photo of the girl seemingly levitating was very appropriate— and funny— intentionally or not. Again, nice shootin’! Viva Carnaval!

Mr. Lipp, you deffo brought your “A” game to Carnaval. Nice shootin’, partner!
George,
Now, that’s a great story !!
Thanks to people like Roberto Hernandez there is still fun in the Mission but I miss the vendors at 16th and Mission which could use a Police Koban.
A good friend who is native here (as was Lincoln Steffens) and grew up with Hernandez shook his head in wonder at Roberto’s car:
“That thing has to have at least a hundred thousand in it and he has two of them !!”
Hernandez is driving force (ignore the pun and it will go away) behind that parade and is my First Ranked Choice Pick for D-9 Supe.
