I am a native San Franciscan. Since becoming a photographer I’ve found The City always ready for her close-up, blemishes and all. I love doing shots here— can’t let tourists have all the fun.

Duck the CCP
I lived in a rent controlled apartment by the Marina in our “Most Beautiful City in the World” for 5 years (1984-1988) before I moved across the Bay to our first owned home (pretty exciting, right?!).
Having had extraordinary views of the Golden Gate Bridge and much of the Bay from the shower window (yes!), kitchen sink, dining nook, living room, and roof-top (Blue Angels came pretty darned close a time or two).
It was tough leaving that space. Tears streamed down my face as I closed the door for the last time.
I love you SF. We will take care of you and make you better again. Like they say, “Nothing worth having comes easy”.
And yes, thanks Governor Newsom for helping to get this process going. It is toughie – multi-faceted and darned expensive, but we have many, many good minds to wrap around this little conundrum, don’t we!

Good job cleaning San Francisco Gov Newsom. I understand Xi Jinping , the president of China is taking all the Pandas home from China but will send Pandas to California . How did you do it Newsom .
