A Muni bus heading east on 16th Street was struck by another vehicle at the Folsom Street intersection sometime around 4:40 p.m. this afternoon.
It is unclear how many people were injured, though the driver of the bus said that five said they had been hurt but then told him they “didn’t feel anything.” Police were not immediately available to verify the number of injuries.
The driver of an SUV said he “lightly tapped” the bus as he was making a right turn at the intersection and the bus driver stopped. He said nobody was hurt, and neither his vehicle nor the bus were damaged.
