A 19-year-old man ran down his two robbers and was able to recover his cell phone after his belongings were snatched near 17th and Mission streets Wednesday night. The attack occurred at 8:30 p.m., as the 19-year-old exited a building near the intersection.
The suspects, estimated to be in their early 20s, bumped into the victim and robbed him of his phone and some cash. Despite the victim’s successful effort to get his phone back, the robbers did get away with his cash. Police have not reported an arrest in the robbery.
