A 23-year-old woman was pulled into a car, driven around by two suspects, and later escaped, police report. On July 22 around 1:10 p.m., a man in his early 60s and a woman in her early 40s were with the victim at 25th and Capp streets and attempted to convince her to exchange her jewelry for theirs.
A few minutes after the 23-year-old woman refused and the pair left, they pulled up in a car and pulled the younger woman inside. The suspects then drove around with the victim and asked her for money. She said she had none. Then, when the suspects stopped the car, the victim got out and fled. She sustained no injuries, and no arrest was made.
Stabbing
At 4:15 a.m. on Monday, July 25, a 45-year-old woman was sleeping on Capp Street between 17th and 18th streets when a roughly 30-year-old man woke her up. The woman pulled out a knife, but the man took it away from her and stabbed her with it. The victim was transported to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition, while the man was not arrested.
Robberies
A 38-year-old man was punched in the head by a roughly 30-year-old man on Harrison Street near 13th Street at 8 a.m. on July 23. The suspect then pulled off the victims’ vest, which contained his cell phone, and fled. The victim was reported to be in stable condition.
On July 23 at 8:50 p.m., a man in his early 20s approached a 22-year-old man on 26th and Hampshire streets and showed him a handgun in his waistband. The robber then demanded the victim’s phone and bag, which the victim handed over. The suspect then fled, and was not arrested. The victim was left uninjured.
Three men in a black pickup truck approached a 33-year-old man on 30th and Mission streets at 3 a.m. on July 25, and demanded his phone and money. The victim complied and the suspects fled. The victim sustained no injuries and no arrest was made.
